Hemp Infused Beauty Products

There are a ton of new hemp infused beauty products on the market these days. Ever since the passage of the 2018 Farm Bill in the United States made the possession, production, and sale of hemp with less than 0.3% THC by weight legal in this country, beauty product makers have been scrambling to add the purported benefits of CBD and other cannabinoids to their lotions, makeup, salves, and other products.

You can get CBD infused lipsticks and foundations, hemp lotion products, and even soaps and bath bombs with cannabidiol and other cannabinoids infused into them. Many consumers report that these products are extremely relaxing and enjoyable, although a lack of FDA evaluation and approval should cause you to take some of the makers’ claims with a grain of salt.

Lotion Products

Hemp lotion products usually refer to lotions, creams, and salves designed to go on the skin and that contain some percentage of cannabidiol, or CBD. The CBD is meant to absorb through the skin and have a calming or relaxing effect on the user. How much of this relaxation is actually a psychoactive effect of the CBD chemical, and how much of it is just the direct result of applying a soothing and inherently relaxing lotion, is a matter of some debate. However, many consumers swear by these hemp lotion products and recommend them highly.
